Built to have your back. Here to make it right

MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

A note from Jeff
jeff lameroux

Since 2016, I've worked as an external Title IX investigator and civil rights investigator for schools, employers, and institutions nationwide. Along the way, I saw the same problem again and again: organizations that needed expert-level investigation and advisory services simply couldn't afford them.

That's part of why CIXE is named the way it is. It's pronounced like the number six — "I got your six" means "I have your back," a phrase that comes from pilots using clock positions to communicate, where 6 o'clock marks the blind spot a wingman covers. That's exactly what I set out to build: an eagle's attention to detail in every investigation, and a protector's commitment to the people who trust us with theirs.

Title IX & Civil Rights Investigations

Thorough, federally-compliant investigations into sexual harassment, discrimination, dating and domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault. Each case is handled fairly and efficiently — typically in about half the time of comparable law-firm investigators, without cutting corners on due process.

Hearing officer & decision-maker services

Impartial support for institutions running their own resolution process — serving as an independent hearing officer or decision-maker when a neutral third party is needed. A good fit for institutions that need unbiased judgment for the hearing and final outcome.
