Certified Title IX Training

A Title IX Coordinator and a Hearing Officer need different things from training. CIXE builds each program around the actual role, available virtually or in person, from 4 to 12 hours depending on what your team needs — including fully custom sessions.

Coordinator training

Certified Basic Title IX Coordinator Training — Understand the Title IX regulations and VAWA requirements, including how to ensure compliance, intake and outreach efforts, supportive measures, emergency removal, tracking, notice of investigation requirements, and adjudication.

Certified Advanced Title IX Coordinator Training — Learn how to increase awareness about Title IX, collaborate with the campus community to build trust with the Title IX office, manage a Title IX office, create an annual report for leadership, develop training, and become a resource for the campus community.

Investigator training

Certified Basic Civil Rights Investigator Training — A foundation in Title IX regulations, civil rights law, due process requirements, conducting interviews, writing reports, completing a thorough and unbiased investigation, and testifying at a hearing.

Certified Advanced Civil Rights Investigator Training — Investigative strategies for evidence collection, improving interview techniques, sharper report writing, faster investigation completion, and overall investigator expertise across any civil rights case.

Every role

Certified Title IX Regulations Training — Covers all Title IX requirements under the regulations for Coordinators, Investigators, Decision-Makers, and Appeals Officers.

Certified Sexual Harassment Training — Federal and state requirements for sexual harassment prevention and education: prohibited conduct, real-world examples, bystander intervention, and reporting.
